G35 Key Box Slide Key For G35 Owner
#18
I got one of these key boxes and I LOVE IT (my wife hates it)
couple of tips to those that will buy it.
When you take it to locksmith to cut the key pull out a chip from your OEM key.
Locksmith will not copy a key with a chip.
Also you need to make sure that locksmiths machine will fit the keybox cuz as you can see it's quite bigger then your standard key.
If it don't you might gonna have to pull the key out.
So don't go to Home depot or Lowes or any other big store cuz they will not be able to do it.
Go to some sh!tty old locksmith place that has those old wedge in machines, they will be able to cut it for ya.
And for the chip.
you can just glue it inside keybox and when you get tire of it and want to go back to OEM key just put it back in the key and you good to go.
Nothing to program or any of that crap.

but I actually got my Key cut at Homedepot, it was free, and it works perfectly fine with my car!!
if you guys go to homedepot, they will ask you what vehicle ( infiniti)
i believed there are 4 different blank key SLOTS, use the last one ( to the right), it was some sort of the key code for the machine,
they place my original key into the machine, then placed my Keybox key into the machine after 30 secs. it was all done and i walk away with my keybox keys
thank

that black little thingy in the keybox is the chip and that's where you either tape it with double sided tape or I just used a superglue.
