Thumbs up FS: Gentex/Homelink mirror w/install kit

SOLD!

i have a used aftermarket premium mirror. it is the gentex 313. it is auto-dimming and has 3 Homelink buttons. it works very well. i am also including the harness (of course), the wire cover, and a mini-fuse adapter that plugs into your fuse box for easy installation (please note that there are two power wires - one which is always on, and one that is switched). i would like to let go for $200 shipped OBO. thanks!

you just have to wire it up. as for the mount, all you have to do is unscrew the torx bit holding your stock mirror and slip this one in - direct fit.

the red wire is a constant 12V source. with the included mini-fuse adapter, just plug it into the fuse box (by removing a fuse, plugging in the adapter, and putting the fuse that you removed into the adapter). the yellow wire goes to a switched 12V source. the black is ground.

Do you know if the harness plugs directly into non-homelink equipped Gs near the sunroof?

I see. So I have to take off the roof trim and the left pillar trim and run the wire to where the fuse box is, correct?

Do you have instructions on which wire is a switched 12V or I have to use a scope to find out?

you don't have to remove the headliner. you could just tuck the wire under it. but you're right - you do have to remove the left pillar trim to run the wire to the fuse box. unfortunately, i don't have instructions. but you could connect the switched wire to the cigarette lighter. i had mine connected to the actual ignition switch.
