Stance made two types of coilovers, one that had an "OEM-style" rear setup (the one that I believe is superior, which is why I purchased it) that uses a separate adjustable height spring and adjustable damping coilover. The second was the "true coilover style" which removed the rear spring and put a spring around the rear shock.

Both the "OEM-style" and "true coilover" style use the same effective spring and shock rates. The difference is only the configuration of how it's implement in the rear.

I did not like the "true coilover" setup because it puts the continuous spring load on the shock bushing. Many people have had this shock bushing wear out and fail because of this excess load. That is why I specifically purchased the "OEM-style" that all of the other coilover makers use for this platform.

These are superior IMO! I recommend you take a closer look if you're interested in Stance.

The rates are the final standard rates that Stance started shipping on their coils: 12k/11k for the OEM-style, which was equivalent to 12k/5k for the "true coilover" style.

very interested,
I put them directly back in the original box when I took them off the car. I ran them for about 1 year and had no problems with the hardware. I personally did the install and removal.

I've attached a picture of them on my car. Note that there was still some room to drop more! Perfect drop IMO.

May be interested. Have any idea what the height adjustment range is for the rear spring ?

I don't have the parts in front of me (they're boxed and ready to ship at work), but I personally installed them and I was able to make the car higher than stock at the top of the adjustment range, and at least as low as the picture I posted above towards the bottom of the adjustment range.

I actually raised the car up a bit later because it was a bit TOO low for me!

FYI, here's a link to Stance USA's page that lists these coils: http://stance-usa.com/sus/index.php?...d=29&Itemid=42

Scroll down to see the applications list. The specific ones I'm selling are under 350Z, Z33, 03+, "12k/11k 200mm/OEM type progressive" listed at $1329.

That noise comes from damage to the rear shock bushing when using the "true-coilover style" version. This is NOT the version I am selling. I am selling the OEM-style which does not have this problem because it configures the rear suspension in the manner in which it was designed.
