Stock 03-04 Sedan midpipe:
very heavy, restricted exhaust flow, 2.5" crush bent steel

Stock 05-06 Sedan midpipe: lighter than the 03-04 Sedan midpipe, not as restrictive as the 03-04, 2.5" crush bent steel, a little bit harder to find than the Coupe midpipes

Stock 03-06 Coupe midpipe: lighter than 1st and 2nd gen Sedan midpipes, not as restrictive as the Sedan midpipes, also 2.5" crush bent steel, they're dime a dozen

Megan Racing 03-06 Coupe/Sedan midpipe: lighter than all of them, better exhaust flow, 3" mandrel bent stainless steel, a lot more harder to find than the 05-06 Sedan midpipe, perfect for F/I or people looking for more peak horsepower.

How does it sound with a stock 03-04 muffler?

I broke one of the studs of my stock muffler, so I didn't get a chance to try it with the midpipe.

It should sound something close to this but resonated:

I'm not sure where you or anyone could get one brand new... but if you say so, then I guess that would be a better deal. Perhaps you should just get one new??
