Have you lowered your car at all? What was the ride quality like on GTA streets with the 20s on? I'm looking to go 19s and figured 20s would be a brutal ride on our roads.
Also, what kind of tires do you have on those rims - you just say what the condition of the tread is...
Can I get a closeup on the rims (either on or off the car)? Hard to make out the details.

Al, Ride quality with the 20s is actually fairly smooth. I noticed that the car was less forgving over bumps then with the stock 18s, but have never had an issue with the quality of ride at all, it handles great with the larger width tires too. If i wasnt taking them off the car tommorow, i would take you for a ride to show you! Tires are falken f452s in the front, and dunlop supersports in the rear. Had Falkens all around, and ran over a nail in the rear tire. So replaced both rears with 285 width Dunlops. Car is not lowered.
I will take a closeup picture of all of the rims tommorow. If you are closeby to Dundas/Dufferin, feel free to give me a call at 416-885-1878 to see them first hand.

I can't imagine how ghastly 20s tire prices must be like to replace. Is it insane? I'm sure 19s will be a nasty step-up to begin with, moving from the stockies up to those.

I can't believe I paid $1200 for 4 tires on my OEM 19".

^thats wild. I got the rear Dunlops off a guy from Oakville who had been sponsored by them. He was planning on putting 285/30/20 on his widebody civic! Worked him down to $450 for the pair, which i thought was a good deal!
