19 Inch Rays Forged Infiniti OEMs W/tires Atlanta
I am selling my 19 inch Rays Forged Infiniti wheels with tires. Please email me for photos. The wheels are available for pickup only in the Atlanta area and I require cash or money order. Email me at Jordan.shearer@gmail.com if you are interested. If you have no interest, please do not spam the thread or email me. Asking price is $1000 OBO.
2 of the tires are in awesome shape, with on of the being brand new and never being rode on. The other 2 tires definitely have a few months left in them.
The wheels have been kept in pretty good shape. There is some minor curb rash, but the wheels were cleaned very frequently.
Thanks!
Jordan

Jordon,
Uh... the photos being thumbnails are useless. We REALLY need detailed photos to see the rash, as well as the tires.
You say two tires are in good shape, one being brand new. What's the deal with that? I take it you've had to replace the rear tires, then got a flat or something that required a replacement tire? What tires are you running on the rear? Doesn't look like the RE050's.
What tires are on the fronts?
Could you give us more info, tire sizes, mileage on the tires perhaps, and especially some good photos showing the rims, (as well as the tires).
Good luck with the sale. Being in Atlanta and having two front rims with curb rash I'd LOVE to find two perfect ones, but they seem to be few and far between. Having two rears with perfect rims but less than 1000 miles left on the rubber it'd be nice to find fresh ones there as well.
Problem is... I keep running across mis-matched sets. Gotta' have matched tires all around on these things less the handling goes south in a hurry. Imagine 120 treadwear on the rear, then 300 on the front. That car would push like crazy. Put hard ones on the rear and soft ones on the front and WHAM, the rear end will get ditch happy in a hurry.
I've even spoken with two local dealers about swapping from the Bridgestones to something else. The traction control is tuned more for the 120treadwear Bridgestones and for years you couldn't find any other brand that had matching pairs, IE 225's and 245's. Now we can FINALLY find matching sets but some are as hard as 300 treadwear. The traction control goes NUTS when you stick those puppies on. It certainly isn't happy anymore. I've had one service manager tell me he's had two customers that went out and bought cheaper tires that don't have the grip the car is used to and both ended up bringing the car in for service claiming the car was messed up wanting warranty repairs. Didn't take long to figure out the tires were the problem. It's either disable it full-time, or get tires a bit softer.
Don't get me wrong, I think the Bridgestones are both great tires, but also am not happy with them as far as how long they last. I know the car can be drivable with a 180 (preferred) to 220 treadwear rating which gives us a LOT better mileage per set. But I've driven one with cheap/hard tires on it and it would break the rear end loose if you sneezed taking off! When you try to smoke-um' they'll light up like a drift car. Just not safe to mis-match a set like that for daily drivers when there are so many good choices FINALLY available to us guys needing the 225 / 245 setup.
