I'm selling a blank master key that is for the intelligent fob key. I originally bought it thinking I could have a shop cut it into my house key...but I didn't realize they were different shapes. Dumb me. This is brand new, blank, ready to be cut / programmed by infiniti.

I never even knew the intelligent keys had real keys in them. You could try having your house lock redone to work with this.

yah...but that would be too much work. plus i'd have to get all my house key's recut and what not. argh! thanks though!

can it be programmed by anyone? or does it need to be done by infiniti?

The key itself doesn't need programming. It's only used to get into the car when the battery is dead, or to lock the glove box.
Only the fob itself needs programming, and any key can be inserted.

When I got my replacement fobs from the 07 recall, the programmed the new fobs and put my original keys into the new fobs.
No additional programming necessary.
