Symbilink will be required, but I think i've seen a Symbilink to RCA, not sure if that works though.

You need a sldin-tf and a symbalink cable for the install.

I might a new SLdin TF but I dont think I have any 18' cables left. THis is going in the trunk correct?

I will check storage for the items and then PM you.

Thanks for the input Carlos. What's the difference between the SLDIN and the SLRCM.01? Would the SLRCM.01 work?

I searched eBay and a few other places and couldn't find anything. I think for the SLRCM.01, if that works, you can contact a Zapco dealer, I'd probably check with them to see what they would charge for an SLDIN as well and ask what the difference is because I don't have a clue to be honest.

Can I use a generic firewire cable with the SLdin TF???

Does the SLdin TF go where the headunit is or do I install it on the amp end in the trunk???

I think the Symbilink uses a cable more like an S-Video cable. I don't think you can use the same since the pins are different. I'm trying to figure out how that works. Does the symbilink end plug into the amp and then you need a long run of RCA's to go to the HU? If so you can get RCA wires for cheaper than you can the Symbilink cable and to connect it, you would use a double female ended RCA. If you need custom cables, let me know. I have a friend who makes some and I think he has plenty of wires leftover, not quite to sure what kind of wires he still makes though, but RCA's are one of them and he's made a couple different ones.

OK you picked up the SLDin -TF which is a balanced line driver! Now you will need a symbilink cable! usually these are connected to the rca coming out of the HU, and a cable depending on the lenght needed is ran to the amp.

The SLRCM is a rca to symbilink cable but you no longer are balanced to the amp!
Which would have been OK since you are running a mono amp.

SLRCM is available in different lenghts and some actually recommend this over the sldin-TF.

You now need a symbilink cable!

What lenght do you need? I have a a few but don't remember the sizes : (

I know I have a 3 and 6' cause they were not used in my install but I should have more.

You can probably run a female to male rca off the hu to the back, install the sldin tf and then run a short symbalink to the amp!
that would save you a bit of cash as symbilinks are expensive.

This is exactly what I planned to do I just wasnt sure if this would work.....If it does....How much are you willing to sell the symbilink cable for??? I am itching to install the amp....It's just sitting there and im anxious like a fat kid that has never had cake before.

PM replied to and I'll try and find out about the fan. Just to make sure, are you getting output from the amp?
