I have a fully working telescoping steering column out of a 2005 6MT G35 coupe.

I also have the small white controller box that makes it work. This mounts directly underneath the steering column and controls all the motors in it.

Does this work with an 04 coupe? How hard would it be to install?

 

I'm not sure if it will work with the '04. If you want to install it in an '04 I'm guessing you would need the drivers side body harness (which I have).

You may want to check out the '05 service manual and compare it to the '04. Physically I think it will fit, electronically it will take a pretty involved rewire.
