I've already talked about this with him, back when i was considering the exhaust.. I didn't buy because i went a different direction. he's selling it because he has clients and customers in his car. and for a business man, an exhaust with 3 inch piping is out of place. it was just too loud for him.. he said loved it, but it was just too loud.. IMO the exhaust sounds good, but it is really loud. no one will argue that it isn't loud. so if you have a sedan, and your wanting a loud exhaust, this is the one for you

Thanks I was into loud exhaust when I was young but now not so much. Maybe if I had a blown off valve making sound with it, I wouldnt mind so much.

Is the sound really that loud? Do you think it wouldn't be as bad since I would just have the rear section? I want something with a good noise but nothing that loud.

yea thats a good axle back just to have by itself... i would definately do that if i was you.. do that with a coupe mid pipe and it will sound good

first make sure that will work though.. the muffler is made for for a 3 inch mid pipe, and your stock is ALOT smaller. so first make sure this will work.

And for those curious about the sound, I dont think the sound clips do it justice at all. It does sound really good, no rasp. I got compliments on it all the time in traffic, from friends and at meets. Its realy not that loud at all especially if you have had an exhaust on other cars. Im just at a point where sound wise I need as close to stock as possible.

I might be interested. How is this better than a Borla catback? Can I put 400hp through it like I can with a Borla??

the welds for the megan isnt the best... BUT the 3inch piping is more ideal for FI than the 2.5 inch Borla
