Quick question. When you say the carbon fiber cant be saved but its good for someone who wants to paint it, what exactly do you mean? If i get it painted but the carbon fiber flexes/crackes some more wouldnt that also crack the paint? Thank you

The hood itself is not made of carbon fiber. It is wrapped in thin layer of carbon fiber. The carbon fiber is just for looks. I believe you can just prep and paint over the scratched up carbon fiber. If the hood was made of real carbon fiber you would easily be paying a few grand.

im guessing it would cost somewhere around 400-500 to get it painted.
