there is no affect whatsoever. just depends on how big or small you like the shifter to be in your hands. i personally like bigger.

im interessted..how does this fit on? i never tried takin my shifter...is it hard? and this is a perfect fit?

it's a perfect fit. to take off your shifter you just keep turning left until it comes off. takes like 5 mins

the boot will naturally fall lower than the shift ****. so what i did was i put some zip ties on the shaft of the shifter and below the boot that way the boot will line up with the shift ****.
