does it say "HKS" on the exhaust anywhere?

 

^ Doesn't have HKS logo on their HKS exhaust, that's why lot of people confuse with xo2 and HKS.

Btw, OP good luck with sale.

 

It's very easy to tell just look at the tips; the X02 tips are brown and the HKS tips are blue. Not to mention the fact that the X02 has an extension pipe since it was originally made for the 350Z. The X02 tips also are tucked in due to its 350z application, the HKS tips are adjustable and can go over an inch out.

But again, surefire way to tell are the tips. If they look like something that you'd actually want to put on your ride, chances are it's the HKS.

 

Thanks tragedycat for the explanation! Yeah it's definitely a HKS and it doesn't say it anywhere on the exhaust. I'd say just look at the quality of the welding and you'll know whether it's junk or the real deal.
