Will the PAC work with those same connectors in an '05?

 

It def works for 03-06, not sure about 07 up though.

 

Does it interfere with the CD player at all?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am actively looking for Ipod adapters for my G and need to know certain details. It's between this and a USA Spec. If nothing else I'm keeping you bumped.

It doesn't interfere with the CD player at all. I don't think it has anything to do with the cd player. It only took me 10 minutes to set up. You just have to pull the back of the radio and plug it between the radio harnesses. completely plug and play.

FYI, a 'USA Spec PA11 Nis' is an adapter similar to what you have except it allows you to control your ipod through the stock radio controls, even the steering wheel. It also charges the ipod and has RCA inputs. Of course, it's more expensive.

Yours is a good, cheaper alternative though. Can't go wrong with RCA inputs. It fits any portable audio device.
