I had them in my '01 Accord. Since mounting depth was very shallow and using 3/4" baffles wouldnt let me put the door panel back on, I moved the speaker about half an inch to the left and up which placed it right where the actual opening for the speaker grill was.
I can tell you they did well enough to keep up with various 18" subs, and I'm not talking about whimpy overrated ones either. I had them with a Soundsplinter RL-p in 5 cubes sealed receiving 2,000w with an RF T30001bd, then 3k with the same amp and enclosure but with a TC Sounds TC-5200 (Eclipse Titanium Pro's..TC Sounds made them). I was doing about 137 - 140 dB on music (measured with a Term Lab and placed in proper locations).
As for how they sounded in the position they were in, I had time alignment for that since I was using an external crossover (Alpine H701).

I'm not going below 450 shipped. After paypal fees and shipping I only see $400. Besides that if you can find these for under $450, buy it from there. This is a steal as it is.

Thanks for the bump. I hope people aren't getting tricked by the name. Yes it's high end stuff and generally associated with SQ, but if anyone has a setup that gets loud, these will keep up.
I had an 18' TC Sounds TC-5200 (same exact thing as the Eclipse Titanium Pro, just that TC Sounds is the manufacturer) in a 5 cu. ft. sealed enclosure off 3,000w (RF T30001bd), doing around low 140 dB on music (using Term Lab) and these speakers kept up with the gain settings I mentioned above (a couple notches above lowest setting).
They also sound great so for those interested in SQ, these speakers will deliver.
