For Sale: Driver and passenger 2003 Coupe Black Leather seats - $125 each

Long story here, I bought a set of 2003 Coupe seats to put in my car (sedan) because of a power seat problem I had. I have fixed this problem and put the sedan seats back in.

What you need to know:
- Driver seat has the famed 'rocking' problem. I have no idea why the original owner did not get it fixed under warranty.
- I have removed a plastic gear from *BOTH* seats that can get worn and cause the power seats to cease working (these became organ donors for my sedan seats). This means the power functions DO NOT work in either seat as-is.
- The leather is in good condition on both seats and all the power switches work (I know because they worked before I removed the plastic gear).
- The holes in the front mounting brackets for the passenger seat were not spot-on when I installed them. Not hard to move them to correct position, but I am doing 100% disclosure here. The driver seat was a perfect fit.
- I have spliced the wires to the connectors under both seats so that it would better match up with my sedan. The connectors are still there and I can solder the wires back for you (I removed the plastic gears that are key to the power function working so not much point in doing this).
- I understand that the heater elements exist in both seats but I have not verified .. so no guarantees on this other than 'I think' they are in there.

I tried to take pics from front/side/back and show condition of leather.

Not trying to make a bunch of money on these, just don't need them anymore and figured someone may put them to good use for fixing cosmetic (or whatever) problems.

i would give you 80 bucks for the driver seat leather. but you have to take it apart and ship it out to me. I ripped mine and want it replaced.

 

If I wind up parting out the seats I will contact you back, I'd rather sell them complete to start out with. And if I do end up parting them out, I may need some pointers taking the leather off if it is not fairly straightforward. Thanks.

Ah, you're too late. Someone bought almost all the usable parts off the seats. All I have left are the power seat switches and motors.
