installing factory navi is a lot harder than just installing the parts. Factory-equipped navi cars have a completely different wire harness. The switch has been done before, but it's very complicated. Not saying it can't be done, just warning those who think you simply need to install the screen and DVD unit.

Well then; I'm not sure how much work would be involved in hooking this up but I'm sure it has been done before

Agreed. It is very hard. You have to take the whole dash board out of the car just to get to the wires you need for install. Aftermarket is a Sh*t load easyer to install....and dont even think about taking it to the dealer to install unless you'd like to pay more than the navi cost. But the stock navi is defiantly awesome.
