Well i call it a mild stretch because it actually isnt that stretched, i mean im running a 275/35 on a 12 inch wide wheel on my 240. <<That's stretched

But yea northsideracing is correct, i ran the 245/40 on it so when i spaced it out it wouldnt hit the fender.. He is also correct about the 40 series protecting the rim.

But when it comes to aggressive fitment and stretched tires, my speedometer is the last thing on my mind....

Also to G35 papa, you might actually be able to fit the wheels on your sedan, this is pics of the wheels on my car without the rear spacers.
I'm always DUMPT LOL

As for why i quoted you. He added the spacer to make the wheels flush and stretch the tires so it wouldnt hit the fenders. Not to mention, he went with a 45 series so iti would be lesser of a chance of bending a rim.

DAMN!!!!
What in the hell does geometry class have to do with it? It's common sense.

He added a larger tire to a larger wheel than OEM. I asked why SO different/much larger. I gathered that it was to protect the wheel/what not, but it's still a hugely different size than stock and one that could adversely affect his VDC/speedo/odo...thus my question. I full well realize that aggressive offsets and spacers have to do with fender rolling/rubbing issues, but I didn't ask about that. Just about the very large tires...and now I have my answer.

I wasn't aware that I had to leave my basic math knowledge at the door because it's a "for sale" thread.

To Blake, I love the wheels and the look, hope you don't run into any mechanical issues from the tires.

Lol @ noob. Why would I PM you? For your sage wisdom as about spacers as they relate to circumference of a tire? Perhaps you should take your own advice and not post in the thread...
Also last I checked I asked the OP a question on a public forum, wasn't really all that worried about the situation and more importantly didn't ask for your input...as helpful as it was.

Also, your != you're.

Bro there isnt any problem with my VDC or speedometer... And if anyone has a right to post in the thread, NorthSideRacing does because we are both a part of Team NextStage. But the whole point of the size tire i put on it was to stretch it for the look, end of story. Please leave my thread unless you're buying the wheels, i really dont need all of this in my for sale thread.

And I wasn't trying to start anything with him or anyone for that matter. I just posted that I liked your wheels but was curious about the size...that was it. You explained and I understood, I wasn't attacking you or anything, didn't say one thing negative to or about you.

Your bro started this whole mess by acting like a smart *** to make me look like an idiot about my question. I promptly put him in his place and he continued the issue despite there not being one... Sorry. I know you're loyal to him, but next time educate him before he opens his mouth.

G/L with the sale.

Im sorry bro! But ive been in the car scene for awhile and worked on plenty of project cars. Most of them are in magzine material or just show stopper's and neck breakers. So I do believe I know what im talking about when it comes to a car Ive worked on or gave out recommendation about parts or TIRE SIZING. I didnt mean for you to get buthurt about my comment.

When you put aftermarket wheels on. The speedo will be off by 2mph to 5mph. Ive seen it happen to me before with my 22', 20', and 19' wheels. So being that the speedo is off. Doesn't really matter because, im lookin good rollin. And to fit some aggressive wheels, you will down size the tire sizing to get those wheels to fit.

"usual size & offset" LOL.....

As stated before "Take it to PM's"... This is a for sale thread. Which Steveblake needs to sell these DPE's so he can order more goods for the project s13 wide-body
