We should figure out the shipping for this.

What happened to your lights that illuminate the license plate?

I'm curious why are you selling? I've been thinking of going aftermarket exhaust but I dread the constant drone while cruising. From my knowledge HKS makes an amazing sounding exhaust for the G sedan.

Yeah, just the interior sound level is higher than I'd like; I'm looking for more of a coupe howl, and this is a throaty (but great) sound from the outside, and above 2500 it's fine, but at lower revs and under load, it's a bit loud inside the car. Maybe I'm just an old fart.

You can add another resinator to quiet down the droning that you are experiencing.

I have the Gen 2 but have got use to the noise.....I just crank up the tunes abit more...

I have a line on a couple of Magnaflow resonators and if I don't sell the exhaust locally soon, I may give them a try. However, I hate to cut up the Stillen to put them in, still not like it, and either have to pay to restore it or hope someone wants it with the new resonators.

In any case, I'm not in a panic to move it; some days I don't mind it at all -- like the other day when I went under that underpass at about 6500rpm, that was sweeeeet.

You would have to buy two and I don't exactly where you would put them. A resonated X pipe or a different muffler would be better choices IMHO. But by then you have added another few hundred bucks and no guarantee.

For those that don't mind the sound, the Gen 2 was always touted as the quieter of the two versions Stillen sold. One guy put a resonated X in his and liked it.

this is a great deal on a great exhaust.

Two is what the guy has...he was going to do a custom exhaust for his TT Z but didn't use them. I'm going to get the part number and dimensions for them to ensure I have room to put them in. Also if I don't like that setup, I could install one in place of my stock resonator and perhaps achieve my goals that way.

Thanks for the bump, Jeffie.

IMHO only and I don't know if it's appropiate for this thread but anyway. IMHO you're only option would be to cut the stillens and replace them with these. Not sure how much that would reduce things. I wish I could find that guy who did the resonated X on this stillen

Took some video this morning but I'm not happy with it and it would take a lot of effort to post (vidcam to DVD recorder to DVD to Computer to Web), so this is just a bump. I've checked into shipping a bit more and doesn't seem like it'd be too onerous, so if I get the parts I'm looking for this week, I'll be willing to ship.

Hossmaxima has dibs if he's still interested, since he was first to ask.

I'm out, I went a different route, so I am not interested in the exhaust no more.
Thanks for the Dibs though

Bump for lowered price, $500 picked up, or buyer pays shipping.

For this price, one could add a Magnaflow resonated X pipe in and still be cheaper than a brand new unit. And it would be noticably quieter.
