Ya, and I thought it was a bearing... I took it to Vic's and apparently its just a sound that comes with the car, because it happens sometimes if you rev it. Steve said it was something to do with the detonation. :S

What am I going to do with a wheel bearing now haha.

Oh that sucks... is it lowered? I found out the shop who put my lowering kit on didnt put the sensor spacers in, and guess what, they got the sh*t rubbed outta them, but thankfully still work! 300 each for those suckers.

no its not lowered...i gotta bring it in..i just cant justify bringing it to infiniti and letting htem charge me a million. I'm out of warranty so i dont know. I might just bring it to the deal just because they know the car the best.

Exact same thing is happening to me right now. It's coming from the rear passenger side. It crossed my mind that it could be a bearing, because the sound only happened after turning right, then it would stick around until I hit the brakes. I've had the car for a year, 10000kms, so I figure my brake pad is toast. Already ordered a full set and plan on taking that caliper off this weekend. Check your rotors for grooves.

Any chance it could be tire noise? Some tire brands make once worn a bit make noise that is hard to tell apart from wheel bearing noise. Sound patterns are very similar.

yah i have old snows on there right now so hopefully its just the tires making the noise. I changed out my bearing assembly and i just put new rotors and pads so it cant be that. The only variable that remained the same were the tires.

Can't you just return it and pay a 20% restocking fee or something? But don't do it yet! If I'm wrong about my car I might need that bearing after this weekend!

SO TRUE, i diagnosed by standing outside the car while my friend drove up and down the block, in the car it sounds like a bearing problem, outside it sound like tire rubbing or the e-brake is up
