FS: SxExCx Custom Grounding Kit - Blue

Recently took off my grounding kit (I miss it!) when I did the wire tuck. I have 9 of the 10 wires in Sean's kit for sale. 1 is still being run on my car (the tranny wire). Asking price is $40 picked up at my house in LB or Sean's house when you do the install, your choice. Sean will provide the other wire needed for $20 and install it for free!

The 3 wires closest to the timing cover have gotten darker over time from the heat, this is normal. If you run an engine cover or main engine harness cover you won't even see them.

Pic of my bay with the grounding kit installed:

My review of the grounding kit from a year ago:

A couple of quick snaps from Sean's garage:

I've always admired Sean's work and decided that when I was going to dive into modding my engine bay I would definitely have him do some work on my ride. I met Sean for the first time a few weeks back at our SoCal Annual BBQ. Ended up rolling up to his house, which was near the BBQ, to pick up an extra ice chest (I was the only one there early with a sedan, so of course I had to give him a ride with all the trunk space I have ). What a cool guy, a family man, and very professional. Got to check out his garage and tools, asked him a ton of questions and he was very happy to share his knowledge with me. Decided that I would have to do some engine bay stuff real soon (tired of going to meets and keeping my hood closed!).

I have always been very skeptical of grounding kits. I thought they were mostly for "show" and didn't produce any noticeable gains in performance, therefore a waste of money. After talking with Sean and reading the reviews of others I decided to give it a try. Sean's attention to detail and focus on quality is amazing. He knows his way around our cars and this kit cannot be improved in any way to better fit our cars IMO. After I let her rip once I got on the main drag near his house, all I could say was WOW! The grounding kit definitely makes a noticeable difference. I drive in MM mode 90% of the time and right away I noticed that my car drove much smoother and shifted a tad bit quicker. No more cluncking noise and hard shift between 2nd and 3rd gear (I was shocked). Car also seemed to pull a little harder (but to be fair I was driving harder than I normally would to train the ECU).

What can I say about the plenum.....bling, bling! The quality of Sean's work is top notch. When I got home popped my hood and literally stared at the plenum for 5 minutes. I'll definitely be having him polish more items in my engine bay in the very near future. I highly recommend the grounding kit to anyone, especially 5AT owners, in the SoCal area (and of course the polished plenum too if you are looking to dress up your engine bay).

Thanks again Sean

Like Marcus said, I will replace the two needed wires and install it for $20. Install must happen at my place in Corona.

Still available, found the 9th wire, so Sean would only be providing the tranny wire.
