Srry for the delayed reply. To answer your question, I had it on my 04 G and it worked fine, but when I first got my G, which was late last year, I had issues with my Navi and the dealer went ahead and replaced my system. So long story short, my navi set up currently on the G was not the original one, but was OEM.

Just check on the following site, as far as i know the 7.2 update only works on 07 models while upto 2005 it accepts 6.7 as the latest version, but check site to make sure...
