All 04/03 G VQs have identical covers, as revups did not become available till later.

About time i updated the pictures.

i dont own it any more. looking for an 05 up now. those particular covers came off an auto.

Shipping to PA will be 23 via fedex but i must warn you and anyone else, getting a box to fit it just right may take a day or two...not exactly pocket size

Please stick to PM's i much rather not make private matters public.

my question wasnt if it was for a revup. There are different timing covers with small changes. Here's a picture of mine does yours have this bolt if it does i'll take it.

and my answer was not that the only difference is rev up vs standard. i said all 03-04 G VQ's are the same, but i did not say that later model vqs were hence the possible difference in yours.

i wont be able to look at the cover till Friday but by looking at the pictures it does not appear to have the extra bolt that your g has.

thank you for your time.

FYI this bolt does not actually go anywhere. Looked at 3 06G's and not one had anything bolted to it. In fact didn't even have a bolt going through. This NOT a through bolt, it cant and does not go through the whole cover. If i am not mistaking this is designed for FWD versions of this engine where the harness is secured with ti.

It is not necessarily the bolt that is the difference. The bolt is a visual cue of the different covers.

If you try to bolt this outer to the older inner, not all the bolts will line up. Vice versa with trying to bolt an older outer to a newer inner.

The older covers are the easiest to find since 03-04 5AT and 6MTs were all the same covers.
