so im a n00b when it comes to exhaust. Whats the difference btwn this and my stock on my 05 g53x sedan.

 

I don't know for sure but I think the exhaust is slightly different on 6MT 05-06 revups. All automatics RWD and AWD came with the regular VQ35DE non revup motor and a regular exhaust. I think the only difference was a bigger resonator on the midpipe on all 05-06 automatics. So the y-pipe might be the same and the rear section/muffler.

Not sure thou. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.

 

no difference. 03-06 g35 sedan/coupe and 350z all share the same y-pipe.

 

The G35X Y pipe is different from the standard DE one. It closely resembles the HR one.
