looking for someone to paint my 06 headlights black

i would do it myself but im scared of messing something up. lol i live in downey, by cerritos and long beach kinda. if you can do my heads for a reasonable price plz pm me. thanks.

I can do them for 125 professionally done with PPG paint and clear but you would have to ship .

Lol it's cool . I can do the painting myself but I'm not too comfortable opening the heads:/

Considering that ur prolly going to spend as much as it costs for a used pair of 03-05 lights, how about doing what I did and get yourself an extra set (or just one headlamp) to practice on. Hopefully, any mistakes you might make, you'd make with the practice light(s) and figure out how to avoid the same thing on the actual set.

Either way, good luck.

I'd do it for you, but I live in the SF Bay Area.

lol i ended up this myself. they are sitting in my house as we speak drying not that difficult. i will post pics of the final result in a bit

quick question. can i blow dry them to speed up the process?

Don't blow dry them. After they dry, throw them in the oven so they can cure a bit quicker.

If you put them back too soon your headlights you may get some of the paint chemicals out and into your lenses. Be patient.

it had been drying for about 2 hours and then i blew em with the hair dryer. i am finally done i love the look but i think i shoulda gone with gloss black to match my roof. o well. lol i can paint them for you if u want. send me PM.
