FS: Unichip for 03-05 Infiniti G35
Unichip for 03-05 Infiniti G35
Hey Guys and Girls,
I had another thread going earlier last week but it seemed to have been taken off because I the picture I provided did not have my screen name and date in it. SO! I’m fixing that and reposting!
I’m putting my Unichip up for sale. I had it in my car for a little bit because the person who I bought it from had similar modifications to what I had. Then I modified beyond that and had to take it out as it started affecting the performance. I believe what the Unichip was tuned for is an intake, upper plenum, and exhaust. I intended to get it re-tuned for what is on my car now, but never got around to it.
As I was talking to one of my buddies, he said he was getting rid of his Cobb so I jumped on that opportunity quick. So, really, that is why I’m getting rid of this now. Otherwise, it’s been sitting since I took it off my car a while ago.
If you only have those mods mentioned before, you might be able to get away with not tuning the Chip, but I highly recommend going to get it tuned as each mod has different characteristics.
If you are interested please PM me.

Description: Unichip (This one is the exact one that I am selling)
Description: From Slickcar.com
Infiniti G35 03-05 Unichip of North America Engine Management System. The performance bottom line is how much more power an engine makes after a modification, whether you use the Unichip Plug-N-Play or another product. Results, and wishful manufacturer claims vary, but in general results depend upon how modified your engine is and how the OE manufacturer set it up. Before talking specifics about gains, be realistic about your expectations. Why would your car’s manufacturer leave a 25% gain lying on the design room floor? Unless you’ve modified your vehicle, or have a forced induction vehicle, you won’t see those sorts of gains just by modifying the ECU’s software. No matter what vehicle you have, we guarantee maximum power from your gas engine. On an otherwise stock, normally aspirated gas vehicle, adding the Unichip typically produces a peak power gain of between 5-9% and provides an increase at all rpm. On a forced induction vehicle or on a modified normally aspirated gas vehicle, adding the Unichip produces a peak gain between 15-20%... sometimes even more. How does it do it? The gains result from the Unichip’s tight, accurate map sets that correct the Air-Fuel ratio and timing to produce maximum power. On turbocharged vehicles, we additionally modify the boost maps to both raise peak boost to the highest safe level and to start boost earlier and program it to reach its maximum quicker. On modified vehicles, the Unichip allows the mechanical parts you’ve installed to function properly and produce the power you thought were getting, but probably weren’t. Performance Chip fits 2002 2003 2004 2005 Infiniti G35
