Ya, I've been to 20+ dealers and they are all shady besides the legit dealerships like Infiniti,Nissan,Mazda,BMW, etc. But their prices are insane. Most used car dealers have average to poor condition g35. A few that I saw have a flawless body but with under carriage that is rusted to death. Some have leather seats that is hot glued back together. I rather trust a car owner than those scammers. That is why I'm posting on this forum instead...

Ever make you wonder why those cars at legit dealers are more money? Because they aren't POS crap mobiles. Stop being cheap and buy one in good shape.

BTW; Ontario is a province, not a region.

So people can't look for honest deals anymore without being referred to as "cheap"? Dealers are at least $3k over market value plus you pay 13% tax. If I am paying more than what the car is worth in the market then I might as well get a brand new car. At least I will be paying fair market value. Also, do you have a G35 that you want to sell? If not, then perhaps you should get a life and stfu.

BTW: I meant to say 'Ontario regions', which is what auto trader refers to. Sorry I missed the 's' and confused the hell out of you.

Asking for help? And then being a dbag? Hmmm, all too familiar. You own a honda right now, don't you?

"Market value" is based on the average price of cars for sale, not selling. If you want to talk book value (the real cost of the car) then you will be surprised to see the dealers are usually on par with fluctuation in price. They tag high so you offer what they actually want.

I'll ignore the fact that your portraying yourself as an *** and insist on helping you.

What's your budget? What year are you hoping for? Max kms? Colour preference?

Provide those and everyone here will be willing to help. You're very vague in what you want, a 6mt coupe.....

No, I don't own a Honda and I'm being an ***/dbag to you simply because you attacked me like one for no reason. Maybe we started off on the wrong foot ... so why don't we start over. Sorry for all the miscommunication, I'm here to look for a G, not to start a fight.

I'm looking for a 04-05 G under 100,000km around $19-22k that is in very good condition. Don't really have a color preference. I know if I pay $25k I'll be able to get one for sure but I'm worry about OC issues so want to reserve some funds just in case since warranty will be over for the model years that I'm looking at.

I didn't attack you, I purely said "you get what you pay for"

Have you driven both cars? Does the interior from 04 bother you, would you prefer the slightly nicer interior of the 05 with the risk of having OC issues? If you are worried about OC, I suggest the 04, even an 03 would work. A pre 05 should be going for much under $20,000 on the private market. Private sale is the one to go, in my opinion.

Have you been looking on Kijiji regularly? I suggest being super patient about it and don't just buy one because you're starting to get frustrated with the search.

Private sale is also good right now because not only you save a decent amount of taxes, it's buyers market (sports cars in winter) Also, don't be scared to offer!

Slightly higher kms, but has every option (nav ) So offer low,

Little more than you want, but it's an 06 with low kms

Look in kijiji toronto and kitchener and all the major places.
