Great core VQ35DE for motor build project!

PRICE: $550 firm
LOCATION: Linthicum, MD
CONTACT: PM to shdowflare
CAR TYPE: 03-04 Coupe/Sedan

Well, my motor build project is history, and I know have to part out everything I bought! So first up for grabs is a used VQ35DE non-revup motor (block AND head AND accessories), that was going to be the built motor for my 700hp beast project (which never happened, lol)! I paid my mechanic - the amazing Frank Hill - $300 in labor to break it down, inspect it thoroughly, and measure everything. All components are still within factory specifications so Frank certified it ready for a build project. He also said it had no noticeable defects and would be perfect for a full rebuild and forced-induction after some cleanup! Also included are an alternator, upper plenum, and water pump (not pictured). Below are some pics of the disassembled motor!

Please take a look and PM me if you're interested. The gear is at Frank's if anyone wants to take a look at it.

PS. One of the valves is burnt, so the head would need to either be redone (I was going to put in a full Ferrea valvetrain through HeadGames), or at least have it repaired.

Hey man - thanks for the interest. For now, I'm hoping I can dish this thing off as one whole part. If that doesn't seem to be working, I may consider parting out the motor itself, and you'll be one of the first to know about it.

Thanks!
Brian

I'm asking $550, or best offer. Of course local pickup is preferred, but I will ship as long as the buyer pays for all shipping charges!

This is a pretty good deal considering I paid my mechanic $300 in labor to disassemble and inspect the engine to ensure it'll hold up for an FI biuld-out. In case anyone on this thread is in the DC area, I had Frank at Hill's Garage tear it down and scrutinize everything. He's a stand-up guy and has superior mechanical knowledge about the G35.

Bump.

Also, If you need some internals, I've got top-notch pistons and rods available as well. BRAND NEW Cosworth connecting rods (paid ~$1450), and BRAND NEW Wiseco Extreme-Duty pistons (paid ~$1000).

Guess I should say, the internals I referenced above are pretty high-end... they're posted for sale in another thread in the local NGC (NationalGClub) classifieds:
