Factory iPod Integration/Conversion kit

PRICE: $190
LOCATION: Mary Esther, FL
CONTACT: AFFlyboy2009@gmail.com
*CAR TYPE: Some 03 Coupes, 04-06, 07+ without nav kits

I have an extra iPod kit that will let you control your iPod through the factory radio system. I've listed it on ebay here

This is a Nissan made factory iPod integration kit for the Infiniti G35 from Infiniti of Scottsdale, AZ. It works with all G35 models except with early 2003 G35s (production date before 09/02) as they are not satellite capable and 2007+ G35s that are equipped with Navigation and XM's Navtraffic. You can have complete control of your iPod through this unit, complete access to your music conveniently through your factory radio controls. This will also display Song, Artist, & Album title on the factory radio display. The integration kit is design to override your satellite radio input. While the iPod is plugged in the satellite radio function is inoperative until the iPod is unplugged.

With this system, your G35 must be pre-wired with satellite radio. To check to see if you are pre-wired for this unit, for 2003 the VIN rages are as follows, (these go by the last 6 digits of your VIN): Sedan VIN: 321894 & higher Coupe VIN: 210827 & higher All 2004 and later cars are pre-wired from the factory.

FAQ’S:

Does this unit charge my iPod while plugged in?
– Yes, it does, however some of the newest iPod/iPhone may have problems. ---

What can I control with my steering wheel switches?
– Song skip and volume only. --- '03-'04 & '07-'08 Models do not have skip compatability through the steering wheel controls.

Is there a way to make it play random?
- As long as you have it in shuffle mode before you actually put the connection cable in then it will stay in that mode until you change it to a different one i.e. searching for a particular song or play list. ---

Is this a factory part?
– Yes, & no. Nissan makes it for certain Nissan models. Infiniti have adapted it to be used in the Infiniti models. Your local Infiniti dealer will most likely be unaware of this accessory. ---

Can I still use my satellite radio after I have this installed?
– Yes, but you will have to have the iPod unplugged from the iPod harness. The integration kit is design to over ride your satellite radio.

Will this work with all model G35's?
– No, this model does not work with early 2003 G35s (production date before 09/02) as they are not satellite capable and 2007+ G35s that are equipped with Navigation and XM's Navtraffic.

**IT IS RECOMMENED THAT YOUR VEHICLE IS COMPLELTY STOPPED AND IN THE PARK (P) POSITION WHILE UNPLUGGING YOUR IPOD FROM THE INTEGRATION HARNESS**

honestly, I'm not 100% sure. The guy who installed it in my G tried testing it with his iPhone. It played music, but he said it wouldn't charge. He figured it was bc it was a newer version of the iPhone, but I have one of the newest iPod versions and it charges and plays fine. I'm trying to find someone near me that has an iPhone that I can test. Maybe he just did something wrong??

Check and see if it will run pandora when you test it with the IPHONE. I would be intrest if it allows pandora to play. After you plug it in, hit the home button and then turn on Pandora.

Hey sorry it took my so long to find out the answers for you guys.

The company says the kit will not work on the newest versions of iPhones and iPods. HOWEVER, I have the newest iPod and mine works fine with it. He didn't seem like he knew what he was talkin about anyway. I'm still trying to find someone around me that has an iPhone so I can test it myself.

He also said that it "should" only work with music (MP3s) and not Pandora. Again, I don't really trust that answer.

I'll keep looking for you.

I just tested this yesterday with my friend's 3G iPhone (as opposed to 3GS? I don't know iPhone versions....either way, it isn't the BRAND new one). Pandora does play as well as her iTunes MP3s. However, a message pops up when you plug it in that describes how it won't charge.

^ Yes, that's the original webpage. Not sure what your point was behind posting it. Keep in mind, the reasons I'm asking the full $190 is because the kit is untouched.
