"Mike's Mount" universal radar detector mounting bracket

PART: "Mike's Mount" radar detector mounting bracket for Beltronics or Escorts (SOLD!!!)
PRICE: $17 shipped (MSRP $22)
MILEAGE: N/A (BRAND NEW)
LOCATION: Gaithersburg, MD
CONTACT: PM to shdowflare
CAR TYPE: '03-'05 G35

This is for the famous "Mike's Mount", the best mounting bracket for your radar detector. The mount is not adjustable. It simply uses the original OEM suction cup bracket, which is bolted to the mount. You can just slide off the detector from the suction cup mount real easy. If you have a Bel or Escort radar detector, this should just use your existing OEM bracket. If you have any other type, including a Valentine, etc., then you may need an additional bracket, and would be better off buying directly from Mike!

Note: This fits the earlier G35 model years listed above, which have the smaller mirror shaft size of 3/4" (not 15/16", as in the '06 and newer models). Please measure your mirror shaft to ensure this will fit your G!

That comes with your radar detector. Mike doesn't provide that to you. Check out my description for clarification:

"It simply uses the original OEM suction cup bracket, which is bolted to the mount."

My OEM bracket attached to the two bolts you see below. I did not receive one from Mike.

Thanks,B

mine was purchased from Mike himself with the shiny chrome metal piece is used to mount to the Valentine One....That should be included with all of his mounts. The nuts are even included aswell to attach to the Suction cup mount of the valentine one.

Then I guess it depends on which radar detector you have. I have a Bel RX65 and Mike sent me only the mount, quoting the statement I included in the thread. Sorry if I misled you. Didn't realize the mount was tailored to each different type of radar detector:

Per Mike's words: "The mount is not adjustable. It simply uses the original OEM suction cup bracket, which is bolted to the mount. You can just slide off the detector from the suction cup mount real easy."

Maybe this won't work for you cuz I didn't need that chrome piece you're talking about...

Thanks,
B

Thanks man! It looks great. So, guys, if you have a Bel or Escort detector, then this mount has your name written all over it! LOL

I'd assume so... Mike did not ask me which type of mirror I had, only which model year.
