Complete Audio Setup: Amps, Speakers, Subs, Wiring
I planned to install this quite soon but I'm realizing that I want to go a different route. I have two JBL amps, an oldschool JL 15W6, Crystal Mobile Sound components and some wiring.
Majority of items are new, details about each are below.
1. JBL GTO 1201.1 amplifier
I bought this from the Harmon Kardon several months back. It is factory refurbished and has never been used since I bought it (Harmon Kardon makes JBL). Can be used as a beefy amp to power some components or mids or use it with your sub(s). It's a very powerful amp and looks sexy, IMO, with a smoked plexi over the top, you can see the internals.
Specs:
1 x 787W @ 4 ohms RMS
1 x 1114W @ 2 ohms RMS
Price: $200
2. JBL Px600.2
I bought this through a friend that got it through the Harmon Kardon as well, never used. Another beefy and sexy amp. Can be used for powering components or a sub setup that doesn't require too much power.
Specs:
4 Ohms: 180 watts x 2 chan. RMS
2 Ohms: 290 watts x 2 chan. RMS
4 Ohms Bridged: 663 watts x 1 chan. RMS
Price: $225
3. JL Audio 15W6 subwoofer
Everybody knows JL Audio, no need to get into that, however this is not the newer W6, it is the previous model and better W6. This is a 15" sub and if you want excrutiating low-end frequency response, this sub will do it. Think you need a ton of space? Not at all. JL designed this sub for efficiency. It can be put in a 1.25 cu. ft enclosure and needs approx 400 watts.
This subwoofer is practically BRAND NEW. It is about 11-12 years old with less than a minute of play. I hooked it up a couple years ago to a home theatre amp just to test it out and that was it. The chances of finding such a sub in such a condition are slim to none. The sub has been stored in its original box and sitting on its side so that the suspension does not sag, thus you are getting as if you bought it back in the early 90's.
Specs:

Price: $250
4. Crystal Mobile Sound CSC 60 components
Many of you may have heard of this company, some may not. Crystal Mobile Sound are well known for their subs and speakers many years back. They still produce subs under a different company, but nonetheless here are some amazing speakers.
These are used and work flawlessly. I'm currently using the mids for my computer speakers. In the pictures they are dusty but of course they will be cleaned before selling. The midbass seems quite p
Specs:
2-way component speaker system
6.5" PVC injection molded woofer
1" titanium dome tweeter
2nd order Linkwitz 12dB outboard crossover
160w power handling
Price: $150
5. Wiring Kit
Got a bunch of wire, brand new. Although I did use up about a foot or two of the speaker wire.
Specs:
30 ft. blue 4 gauge wire
30 ft. silver 4 gauge wire
98 ft. blue 16 gauge speaker wire
18 ft. remote wire
3 Distribution blocks w/fuses
Price: $100

Additional Info:
The amps and sub will come with the original box and manuals. Prices do not include shipping. Not looking for any trades, just looking to sell. If you have a reasonable offer, I may consider it, but going off what I can find these are priced below what you would find on the net.

I will get additional pics tonight and will also inclue a pic with my username. Just wanted to get this up now to see what interest there is.

Hey Don, how do those speakers sound vs the Precision powers that i have currently? The tweets were too big and have been put in as a co-ax but id like them to be mounted in the stock tweet locations. Will these fit up there?
Let me know. i am interested!
Which direction are you going, btw?

I really can't compare them to the PPI's because I only had the mids hooked up for bookshelf speakers for my computer. As for the tweeters I can get an approximation to see if they would fit. I'll check it out tonight, possibly tomorrow morning and get back to you.
As for the direction I'm going in, I might go with an infinite baffle setup with a single 18 or dual 15's. I've found a couple 15w6's, but not in the condition I'm looking for and a couple people bailed out on me as well so I'm giving up on it...sucks cos I wouldn't mind trying out that setup.
I might consider going back to what I had before, single 18" TC Sounds TC-5200 (aka Eclipse Titanium Pro), but I'm lookin at spending quite a bit of money for that....need an amp that'll put out approx 5k rms and several batteries...not sure if I want to do that cos of all the weight. Or I might have a custom 18" built. Gonna sit on it and focus on other things right now.
Pics with username will be up tonight, totally forgot about it.

How do these compare to the Infinity Kappas? Better? If so, i might have the Kappas pulled, the PPIs put in the rear, and these Crystal Audios put up front. (I mainly want my components back)
Let me know if the tweeters should fit. If so, i'll pick these up off of you.

Still hard to determine cos I really haven't heard these in a car environment, but I wasn't really impresses with the Infinity Kappas I had for my Camry so I can only guess to say that the Crystal ones are better.
I don't want to say that they are and be wrong or say they're not and they end up being better.

Yes....lol. I really wanna finish my exterior before I move onto audio. When I do audio I think I want to go all out, just replace factory HU with a double din, go with a processor, and not have to worry about LOC's and whatnot.
