update: import auto was able to get them out to me for $85. comes with everything shown in the pic above. SPC replied back "please contact one of our vendors to purchase the shim kit." i still dont understand why you cannot get them directly from SPC. instead they make you go through the vendor who just turns around and ordered them from SPC anyway
anyway, thanks to blakmax for the help and the good word.

Depends how much camber you have now. The shims give you about another +2 deg. The A-Arms can give you +1. So if you have the full SPC front kit installed, you can have up to +3 deg camber. If you're car is lowered, most likely your camber will be out of spec. To know if you need the shims, it's best to to have an alignment done to find this out. If you camber is around -1 to -1.75 deg, you'll be fine with just the A-Arms. But if you're -2 deg or more, you might want to look into getting the shims installed too. That's IF you want to return to spec (or close to it).
dint need the shims. front alligned rigt up with a arms alone. im not that slammed.
