If you have an OB coupe, you'd be set with the painted one. Maybe I wasnt clear in the description but I hope I can clear up some things as to what was done to the trunks. Both trunks original came cleared over. I had them both buffed and sanded down allowing for paint to properly adhere to the carbon fiber. The painted trunk was taped accordingly to follow the lines of the car and painted Obsidian Black. After that the entire trunk was cleared over. It would be a direct bolt on with your trunk hinges attached to your trunk now for those OB owners. The buffed one is ready for paint and could be cleared over to bring back its shine. The buffing was done to remove the clear.

You dont buff to put scratch in the gel coat/ clear to prep for paint. You sand it. If they prepped it for paint they sanded it. If its not to deep and can be sanded with fine grit and buffed back out. Last solution would be to sand again with 1000 grit not to go thru the clear and reclear the entire panel to be safe
