Pretty much BRAND NEW JL Audio W6 subwoofer

I'm selling a JL Audio 15W6. DON'T get discouraged that it's a 15" sub. It CAN fit in a coupe or sedan. The sub needs only 400w rms and 1.25 cu. ft. sealed. It's very efficient and most 10's require that much space. In fact, a JL 12w6v2 needs just as much space but more power.

Reason for selling is that I was trying to find a second JL 15W6 for my setup, but it's too difficult to find another one (for the condition I'm trying to find it in).

This here is and oldschool, rare, discontinued, MINT, and pretty much BRAND NEW subwoofer. I bought it a couple years ago from someone on an audio forum when it hadn't been used. I tested it out on my home theater amp for just under a minute and that was it. So this 12 yr or so sub is practically new.

Your chances of finding this same sub in such a condition are near impossible, trust me, I'm trying to find one, lol. The sub comes in original packaging and has been sitting on its side so that the suspension doesn't sag.

Pictures:

Price is $230 OBO (does not include shipping). Prefer local, but willing to ship. Not looking to trade for anything as I'm going for 2 18's.

I'm located in So Cal.

I also have some sound deadener in case anyone is interested in it. I have 36 sq. ft. of Damplifier Pro.

I am NOT selling anything else in the picture since I will be using that for my current install.

Yep. It will help. It would be helpful to pair it with some open cell foam. Deadener mat like I have helps target vibration...sound waves hitting surfaces and causing objects and surfaces to resonate. Now you have plastic hitting metal then that would be rattling. Deadener can help with that but to be more effect an open-celled foam as I mentioned would be best to eliminate that. However, if you have the space, a closed cell foam would be a lil better.

What exactly is rattling in your rear deck?
