The reflash works just fine I had the stage 2 in my car because I had HR headers ported cyl heads and the spacer. I decided to get this unit because of the advantage of having default maps for certain mods. I would say if you don't have so many mods just go with stage 1 and you will notice the difference right away. You can take the car to the dyno also and do a custom job with the race software. Another think I liked was the valet mode and anti theft.
