Don't destroy those OEM 18's!!!

I am willing to trade anyone that has a set of the 18" OEM wheels and tires with my used pair coming off a 2003 coupe. I was planning on getting a new set of 20" wheels but have decided that I want to stick with the OEMs.

Anyone that was planning on using their OEMs for track purposes or to just beat around let's make a trade. Of course the wheels I want should have less than 10,000 miles on them and be in excellent condition. The wheels I will give in return will have no structural damage, but they are not in excellent cosmetic condition. The tires are also worn quite a bit, but are perfect to use if you want something to play rough in.

I will pay for all shipping costs and may kick in a little extra cash....who knows we'll see. My car looks brand spanking new inside/out but the wheels make it look old. So, new looking OEM 18's will do justice to my coupe.

Feel free to pm me with any questions, photos and details of your wheels. But don't ruin a perfectly good set, I have a set that is perfect for you to abuse!!!

I know a lot people that damaged factory wheels because they are buying aftermarket wheels and didn't care. Since I am no longer in the market for aftermarket wheels I figured anyone planning on replacing their wheels with new ones may not care about selling me theirs and getting my used ones in return. Ijust bought another car so I wanted to replace my rims for a cheaper price.
I am not trying to take advantage of anyone one here.

It's unfortunate that people got offended by this post. I have been on here for over a year and have never insulted anyone.

Hey no problem. I could have put more thought into the title of this thread. It doesn't seem appropriate now that I have looked at it a few times. I will probably just buy a set off of eBay and keep my old ones for the winter.

Thanks.

You can find a decent set for $600. That's not expensive at all. I posted a thread back in the summer and got tons of PM's. Just start another thread "WTB: OEM Coupe wheels" Good luck.

Thanks Chico! Is that wheels and tires at that price? I talked to a guy that wanted $1,200 for a set with 10,000 miles on them. The dealership wanted much more.

My OEM's aren't in horrible shape. They have some discoloration and curb damage. They look bad because the rest of the car looks brand new inside and out.
I was dead set on picking up some 20" aftermaket rims until I saw the coupe concept. Now I plan on getting that and don't want to put too much money in my car that will be three years old in March. I am debating on letting the dealership do the full 30,000 mile service, or select only certain services to be performed. I guess that's a different topic though.

Thanks again.

Why don't you just get your stock ones refinished?
