FS: K&N Filter with 500 miles

Well guys I decided to sell the K&N filter after 500 miles. I ordered the new Amsoil filter and have no need for the K&N anymore. I love my K&N and have had nothing but good experiences with it. Asking $35 + shipping.

Sound clip here: http://www.f-trans.net/pub/ludafifty...r%20audio.aiff

That is with the MREV installed, but I have read posts that you will get that sound without the MREV.

why would you use an Amsoil instead of a k&n? i don't see what advantages the amsoil would offer....?

The cleaning method is different and easier for me. I dont want to take the risk of over oiling the filter and messing up the MAF. The Amsoil only requires a vacuum cleaning rather than re-oiling. I know many people reoil just fine, but knowing me I would overoil it and foul up the MAF.

I've been using k&ns for almost the last decade and i've never had a problem re-oiling (And i'm a complete tard wen it comes to cars)......I suspect that those that have problems just dump the re-fill bottle ontop of it, lol
