FS: New H/o G35 Alternator

for sale is a brand new, custom made, g35 alternator. This alternator puts out 200 Amps and gives ur amps a nice amount of amperage.

the alternator housing is right from a g35, so it bolts on to the factory g35 alternator location.

i paid close to 700 for the alternator alone, and another 300 for a custom machined pulley. This pulley allows your electrical system to put out 14.41 Volts at Idle, which is incredible. I will have send pics only if u are seriously intersted.

this is a pretty expensive setup, but will bring any big stereo setup to the next level and prevent car dim in the headlights or taillights all together

getting an alternator rewound to produce higher current is costly. i've seen it run in the $300-$400 range, and that is with you sending in your stock alternator.

i'd only recommend this if you are running A LOT of audio/video.

if you have dimming problems, try upgrading to the BIG 3 before purchasing a rewound alternator.

info in regards to the BIG 3 can be found on sounddomain.

yea its pricey, but the big 3 even wont correct the voltage drop and dimming problems like a high output alternator will.

located in NJ

and its not a stock alternator, its g35 alternator housing and all new internals and windings with a new pulley attached to it. i still have the stock one in my car, thats what im using until i get me 220A alternator

i'm interested, how difficult is the install? how many amps does the stock alternator put out??

why aren't you using this one?

it easy to install. you just have to bolt it on to the stock location. its literally two bolts and a pulley.

you also need to upgrade the fusible link from the alt to batt and wire size. pretty much, put in a bigger fuse in that location and run a bigger size wire. after you do that, i also recommend changing the battery to ground wire equivilant to the alt to batt wire size-minimum 4 gauge.

the stock alt runs 110 A, this ones 200 A and 14.41 Volts at idle

im changing to a 220A alternator because when everything in my system was installed and calculations were made, i would of needed an extra 10+ Amps VS my first calculation, which was a 200 A alternator.

I don't need it, I want it, but I don't need it. However, I would think this alt would fit any NISSAN with the VQ35? You might advertise on the Maxima and Altima forums. And the Titan, Mirano, FX-35 forums. I'll bet some "off road" type would love to have this for all the lights and winches they run.

Im gettin my system done in couple of weeks, and they actually recomended me to upgrade my alternator, which I knew was coming. They going to take my car to a shop in Miami area that's gonna do rewound on it to 200A, $300-$400 bucks installed with warranty. Now how much you looking to get?

what kind of rpm for the 200a output? what does it have for output at idle? do you need another belt with the custom pulley?
