hey g35man04....where is the V1 unit located in the car? Ive been wanting to do something like this, but install the V1 concealed display in the ashtray instead of messing around with the rearview mirror, but i cant find a good place to store the V1 unit where it wont lose radar reception

1. Do you have adaptive cruise control (ACC)? I'd like to get a 9500ci but worried it might interfere with my ACC or vice versa. I use a 9500ix with no problems.

2. Can you share some pics or PM me? Interested in exactly where you put the lasers in front, the radar detector, display, LED and controller.

HAHAH!!! Man! Mad respect though. My dad has been building cars for 30 years. He can never stick with just one car! Then you have to part out the old car! I just sold my 240... So I have started lol.

 

I will buy a daily next...Tahoe or yukon just to get around with since my g35 is my daily currently......with that being said after that My dad and I want a project car..we were looking into the old Z's to build up with a V8 of some sort or pick up a 240 and drop an ls1 in it!

 

My 240 had an LS1 lol... after we went through a KA24 and 2 SR20's we just went muscle with it lol... My dad basically did the build. Now his project is a 2007 Cadillac XLR. My daily is an Integra Its my wifes Hooptie lol... the 240 was my daily, but it crapped on me and my G35 is torn apart getting twins installed on it... Definantly looking at a Tahoe too lol or a Nissan Titan

 

by the way, if you are looking for a Z there is a 280Z here in Newport News, VA, guy wants 300 bucks for it!!! Body is in great shape! You would just have to ship it to TX. Also, I will be out in AZ next year so not sure WHERE in TX you live, but it would be awesome if we could meet up and you show me a thing or two about cars, im only 21 so im rather new
