I'm really curious as to what you installed in your car, particularly because I am on a super tight budget but am sick of using CDs in the year 2014 lol. Do you have a description/link to it?

It's called grom audio and I was the cheapest I found to install to have an AUX cord for phones or ipads etc. They have many oiptions, but I chose the one starting at $70ish dollars. They have ones which are bluetooth compatible, but I didn't wnt to mess with all that.Here's the link;

Install took about an hr, alot of plastic that you have to rmv, but I youtube rmv'ing dash for g35 and I found plenty to choose from. I ran the aux cord up to the compartment above the stereo(no navi) cars and it's the best place to store ipods phones etc.

For anyone who is using this DIY, I found an easier way to get to the SAT plug. You would still have to take out the lower seat cushion. Then you would remove the passenger side back cushion. Once you get that out of the way you lift up the black covering and the sat cable should be right there.

Good info. Removing all of the trunk paneling can be a bit cumbersome.
