What's the total cost? Any word on the dual climate yet?

2003 G35 Coupe 6MT/Black/Graphite

 

total for parts was 298.00 ( thats dash, AC controller, pocket, blank, metal bracket) and shipping was right around 50.00, but I had two separate shipments because I bought the bracket later, so less than 350$. No the dual wont work, I just took the AC controller apart to switch the buttons, although the new controller has the circuitry for the dual and even says "Dual" on the circuitboard, the contact switch isnt there, somebody could easily solder it on but dont know what would happen if you did.

the price is right but I'd like to keep the dual functionality. do you have any pics of the circuitry. And the contact switch from both the old and new. I'd just like to know if this is something I'd like to try soldering.
Have you tried jumping the contacts to see if they work?

no i dont have any pics, my digi camera kinda sucks, the contact switch is VERY small, about ----> o, that small, and the spot to solder it to is about ----> [ ], that small, no joke its small, you could probably do it but it would be a big PITA, i worry about messing something up, and I rarely use my AC anyway, definitely dont use dual, I just wanted the button there.
