that really is sweet...I definitely want one of those. Too bad I won't get one by this tues, when I'm dropping off my car at the installer to get all my speakers replaced. Eh, I can replace the head unit myself, that's easy.

Apparently dual climate does work, but you have to use your old button, and it is a pain to ge the old button out of the old panel and into the new one....but it is possible...

 

i dont think it will work, i dont think its wired to work, i dont think its available at all in japan, i believe the button swap is just for looks. im gonna swap it anyway and hope it works.

I would willingly give up my dual climate control to put in an aftermarket nav and to never ever see this CD ERR FO again (just replaced the changer last week and got the error 3 days later....but that's another thread).

I think your missing the metal bracket that goes behind the pannel to hold the pocket to the dash. I have my console, my friend ordered more.

 

yeah i was debating about buying the bracket, but was told the factory one would work. so i didnt get it, it was 32$ , ill buy it if i need it.

what sucks about this dash is if you get any sort of flip up screen its either going to block the upper din unit or the AC controls. I'd rather move the AC controls down where the ashtray is and make a custom double din up above. (it's been done a few times) Yea, I know thats custom and requires cutting up the dash.
