For all you audio experts ?? on fitment

I want to get a set of Alpine Type R 6.5"components for the front and Type R 6.5" coaxials for the rear. The components have a mounting depth of 3" just wondering if they'll fit. I know i need a spacer, but after installing the spacer will these speakers fit up front? Thanks

they will fit, just use a 3/4" spacer on the fronts, the rears will need about an inch spacer and they may come close or rub against the rear panel. in my opinion i would ditch the rears altogether and invest the extra money in better front components, like DLS or something like that.

Thanks for the info, i'm gonna stick with the type R's though. Even if i ditched the rear coax's i wouldnt be able to drop $400 on DLS's.
