How to conceal an Aftermarket DVD????
How to conceal an Aftermarket DVD????
I was wondering if there was any way I could hide away the tv tuner and dvd somewhere, cause the car is leased and I don't want the dealership to find out which would make the warranty void. Any advice ???? thanks
Re: How to conceal an Aftermarket DVD????
Typically on leased cars you can have an aftermarket TV or DVD as long as you can remove it with out leaving any damage or alteration to the interior once you return the G at the end of the lease.
FYI, if you live in the US a dealer legally cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

I live in Canada so I dunno if its the same policy here....
But in order to install a DVD you need to cut a wire and that they might argue can cause the navigation system to mess up............so i was told....................
