Dynamat in b/w door panels.
Searching the forums and everyone's very helpful install pics, i was wondering how many of you actually dynamatted the outside outer surface of the door panel (ie: behind the glass). I noticed many of you only dynamated the metal panel you see after you pop the plastic door panel off...a few of you took the extra time to take that metal panel off and the window guides/motor to insert two strips of dynamat which lies BEHIND the glass window. I was wondering, how much of a diff does it make? is just dynamatting the front metal panels (where your speakers are mounted) sufficient? i'm not too keen on removing more things than i have to.

Dynamating the inside of the outer door skin does help.I've done it to all my cars. It's more dificult and takes more time but worth it.If you think about it,the speaker is pushing air towards the outer door skin, that will vibrate. The outer door skin is a large smooth piece of metal, which is very likely to resonate.
