Well, I suppose there is a minor difference... the "Bose" head unit has the Bose logo painted on the cassette flap. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Follow it very closely and read read read. This thread contains all the answers you are looking for. Keep in mind, the guy at J's garage is swamped with these orders so it takes some time. I was just notified today that my order was shipped, as I ordered it a few weeks ago. But Yuichi is a very nice fellow and responsive to your e-mails.
Yes, you do lose dual-climate functionality. Supposedly the switch is marked on the board but no switch is solidiered on. When I receive my A/C controls, I will take a closer look and see if I can modify mine to work. If so, i'll probably provide some service to my fellow enthusiasts to do this.

If under $400, i need one. Titanium finish, with nav system, brackets & everything needed included. thanks. any other importers from Japan that might be able to get this quicker? seems like this guy is swamped with orders & emails. if we could order in bulk & then resell in the US, that'd probably be a whole lot easier & save shipping.

yup...you will lose the dual climate control. But you know what? Someone here will find away around that as we have lotsa audio freaks here.
I just kept in touch with yuichi from j garage. I guess i am in the process of ordering. I figure if i order now, about month or two later, i will get it. By then, some1 here bound to find a way to get the dual climate to work.
