is there any way to make the 05 Navi screen... look like the 06 Navi screen?

I really like the new interface. It looks alot better than the 03-05s. Why did they have to change the way it looks in 06??? damn.

 

Technically you could probably tear out the entire Navi and put in a 2006 system, but generally the answer to your question is No...

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't all you have to do is change the DVD-reader that sits in the glove box? From what I understood, the screen is the same, but the reader (hardware and firmware are different) has to be changed...I'm not completely sure about this though.

Can anybody confirm what needs to be done...I'm willing to spend a reasonable amount of money for this mod...I might call the dealer and ask.
