I'm thinking about a JL 500/5 amp for my sedan. Can someone suggest a good location?

(I'm looking for as much of a stealth install as possible, so a motorized, hydraulically operated platform that extends from the trunk is NOT what I have in mind.)

Ther is a lot of space in the trunk inside the spacers adjacent, and surrounding the spare tire... Open up your trunk, and measure to see if it fits... it think it should.

I think that is only the case in a coupe. My spare is recessed below the floor of the trunk, and the top is level with the trunk floor.

I have a jl500/5 and it is mounted to the back of the rear seat. The trunk "lining" is placed over it so it is completely stealth. The only drawback is that it covers the pass-through from the rear seat to the trunk.

Thanks for the feedback. I definately don't want to loose my pass-through, as if I get deperate enough to drive to ski when my Jeep isn't available, I may need it. I've been re-thinking the JL 500/5 because of this, and am now thinking of a JL 300/4 and a JL 250/1 or 300/2. This way, I can put one on each side of the pass through.

If it's small enough, you might try putting it in the space where the Bose amp goes, in the roof of the trunk, under the third brake light.. or somewhere nearby there.
