Do the seats have limits?
Hi guys/gals,
I recently replaced the notorious forward/back gear on my drivers seat and thought I left the seat exactly as I removed it but something strange is happening.
When you turn off the car the seat will move back and steering wheel will tilt up, but when I get back in the car and turn the ignition key on the wheel will move back to stored memory location but the seat will not move forward. I can manually move the seat forward and even reteach the location but when I exit again the same thing happens. Wheel and Seat move back up and up, I exit the car, get back in, turn on ignition, wheel comes back down but seat will not move back forward.
So I was thinking there must be some "zero" point or limit switch or something that has to be taught.
Anyone seen this?
Thanks for any info!
