There are 4 V1's in the driveway if that tells you anything.

Too lazy to buy 4 mounts and hardwire cables?

+8 on V1. Though I got a ticket with V1 one time, the cop didn't turn on her radar until the last second and nailed me with laser. The V1 saved me at least a dozen times over the last few years though.

btw: I was sitting at a burger joint 2 days ago and saw a motorcycle tropper pulled over 7 cars within 40minutes we were watching. Local mechanic told us that cop had showed up everyday for the last 2 weeks doing the exact same thing to people.

Your tax money at work.

v1 and escort x50 are the 2 best. i got the escort last minute in town before a road trip. its worked great for me. saved my butt a bunch of times. only cons of each is v1 is said to be a little oversensitive and escort has no arrows. otherwise, both are great.

The worlds best radar is your own eyes. When your Radar (V1) Picks up a police officers radar, he/she has already clocked your speed. Also many police officers dont turn on the radar till they already see you speeding. Then it is also to late. Good Luck.

i have wireless solo s2. works great.

I had V1, it's good except way too much false alarms which slow you down so often, you can't even speed not mentioning getting tickets.

This one time I was shot by laser gun and I slowed down right after the first laser warning. I got shot 2 times. I was at 140km/h when I was shot for the first time. After I slowed down to 120km/h, I got busted. The thing is that I don't think they can clock your speed at first time? or maybe that police officers laser gun got an error ?

Do you have a V1?

^^ +1 lol....

That must explain why I drove 100 and V1 went off and I droped back down to 45 and did not get a ticket.

the only time you CAN NOT avoid getting a ticket is you are speeding pass a police who is hiding in a conceal position and he "triggers" you, at which time you are undoubtedly DOOMED. Or laser if you are super unlucky to be hit by one.

for all V1 users refer to http://www.valentine1.com/lab/MikesLabRpt3.asp for hidden modes and activate "More Responsive to Ka band" it has saved my wallet a million times over.

escort passport 8500 X50

its range is so good that it can detect radar until the earth's curvature begins to have an effect on it. in many respects, it beats the V1.

it just doesn't have the arrows. but, why do you have to know where the cop is? the response to any KA radar is the same: slow down.

BTW, mine's never been stolen, but unless you're careful, it can be.

Simple really. Say you drive by 1 cop and the arrow shows it beeping as behind you, so you speed up thinking your safe, then BAM theres a 2nd speed trap right there, quite common.

Well with the arrows, you'd see it light up in front of you too so you'd know something is up.

I speed all the time and have never gotten a ticket. It helps a lot IMO. I have Valentine 1 as most of the ppl here suggested.

Only way to get caught (hypothetically as I havent been stopped yet), is if the cop has it off and you run past him... cuz their cars film anything thats happening so they have proof. If they are on the other side and you arent going way past the limit, there is no way for them to prove so you can fight ticket off easily. If you get stopped and given a ticket... if your radar detector does not sound, you can ask the cop to show you his gun and if he doesnt, you mention it on court and you wont be guildty (once again, hypothetically as that is what I've been told as I never got a ticket with the V1 on).
